A new XPenology boot image has been released, hopefully fixing the iSCSI issues!
The latest boot image is supposed to bring proper support for Synology DSM 5.2-5644 and resolving the iSCSI issues the previous build introduced. Since this build was just released, I recommend to follow the main thread on the XPenology forum before upgrading or testing the upgrade thoroughly in a testing environment. I’ll upgrade myself in the next couple of days when I know it’s stable or have had the time to run some tests.
Changelog 5.2-5644.5 (14/02/2016):
Fix iSCSI (block and files)
Fix Time Backup freeze
Fix VirtualBox package
Add device mapper mirror (dm-mirror, dm-log and dm-region-hash modules)
Add NVMe support
Add evdev and button module to boot sequence
Update mpt3sas, aacraid, e1000e (I219 support), bnx2, bnx2x, megaraid_sas drivers
